Folven

Folven is a Wear OS watch face inspired by the quiet experience of lying beneath a forest and watching sunlight dissolve into the canopy above. The background is rendered as a low-poly geometric illustration, transforming overlapping leaf clusters and branching limbs into a mosaic of faceted triangles and polygons, each face softly shaded to suggest depth and natural form.

The color palette is light and minimal, built around pale sage, ivory, and warm off-white tones. Amber light rays filter down through the geometric foliage, concentrating warmth at the center of the composition and fading gently toward the quiet, airy edges. The result is a clean, luminous atmosphere that feels unhurried and serene.

The central area of the composition is intentionally open and softly lit, ensuring that watch hands and time elements remain clearly legible against the delicate background. The design uses a square 1:1 layout centered for circular display crops, making it well-suited to round Wear OS screens.

Folven captures nature at a still, crystalline moment. The low-poly treatment removes the noise of a realistic scene and replaces it with something geometric and almost meditative. Amber accents run along the light shafts and leaf highlights, lending gentle warmth without heaviness, as though the morning has just begun and there is nowhere yet to be.
